Die Goodwin 44 wurde in Übereinstimmung mit der europäischen CE-Zertifizierung gebaut und erfüllt die Bedingungen der CE-Richtlinie 94/25/CE für Sportboote. Dies bedeutet, dass es strenge Anforderungen an die Festigkeit von Rumpf und Deck, Schotten und Ruder und deren Befestigung, Sicherheit und Stabilität, Einbau von Motor und Gasanlage sowie das Vorhandensein einer umfangreichen Dokumentation gibt. Die Goodwin 44 fällt in die Kategorie A: Ozean und hat daher eine CE-A-Kennzeichnung. Rumpf und Deck bestehen aus glasfaserverstärktem Polyester. Der Gelcoat und die ersten beiden Schichten aus Polyester sind von ISO N.P.G.-Qualität. Der Rumpf ist oberhalb der Wasserlinie in Sandwichbauweise mit 25 mm dickem PVC-Schaum konstruiert. Sonstiges: Inneres Die Innenausstattung kann in jeder beliebigen Holzart getischlert werden. Teakholzverkleidung ist Standard. Die Küche ist mit einem Kühlschrank, einem elektrischen Backofen und einem vierflammigen Gasherd ausgestattet. Die Küchenarbeitsplatte besteht aus Edelstahl, kann aber auf Wunsch auch in einem anderen Material geliefert werden. Ein großer Apothekenschrank bietet reichlich Stauraum. Die Eignerkabine hat direkten Zugang zu einer Dusche mit Waschbecken. Zwei große Kleiderschränke und eine Reihe kleinerer Schränke. Eine zweite Kabine mit zwei Kojen bietet Platz für zwei Personen. Die Toilette verfügt über ein Waschbecken. Ein technischer Raum ermöglicht den Zugang zur gesamten Elektronik und bietet die Möglichkeit, eine Waschmaschine zu installieren. Das Steuerhaus dient auch als Salon. Eine geräumige U-förmige Bank mit Tisch ist ausreichend für 4 Personen. Auf Wunsch kann die notwendige Ausrüstung im Steuerstand eingebaut werden. Ein Echolot und ein Logbuch sind Standard. Um das Schiff bequem steuern zu können, wurde ein in Höhe und Position verstellbarer Stuhl eingebaut.

Motor, Elektrik, Wasser
Sonstiges: Antrieb Zwei Yanmar 6LPA-STP-Motoren mit einer Leistung von 232 kW/315 PS bei 3800 U/min. Hydraulische Wendekupplungen mit Schleppventil-Steuerfunktion. Propellerwellen aus Edelstahl mit Drucklagern und homokinetischen Kupplungen. Schnellere vierblättrige Schnecken mit einem Durchmesser von 24" und einer Steigung von 23,5" in Tunneln für hohe Effizienz. Elektronische Teleflex-Steuerung mit niedriger und hoher Schleppventil-Steuerung. Der Motorraum besteht aus einer hochbelastbaren isolierenden Sandwichplatte und ist innen mit einer 42 mm dicken Schalldämmung versehen. Der Motorraum ist mit einem automatischen Feuerlöschsystem ausgestattet. Installation Die 24-Volt-Elektroinstallation ist von hoher Qualität. Ein Ladestromwandler und ein Ladegerät/Inverter sind Standard. Die Kapazität der Servicebatterie beträgt 600 Ah. Die Beleuchtung besteht aus dimmbaren Halogenstrahlern und Leseleuchten. Die Schalter sind in die Wände eingelassen. In der Küche ist eine LED-Beleuchtung eingebaut. Ein 40-Liter-Boiler sorgt für Warmwasser. Diese wird sowohl durch das Kühlwasser des Motors als auch durch 230 V erhitzt. Das Wassersystem wird durch eine automatische Pumpe auf Druck gehalten. In Küche und Toilette sind Mischbatterien installiert, in der Dusche ein Thermostathahn. Der Abwassertank kann mit einer Pumpe oder durch die Decköffnung einer Abwasserpumpstation entleert werden. Ein Webasto Warmluft-Dieselheizer beheizt den Innenraum. Es gibt genügend Ausgüsse, um das Schiff schnell auf Temperatur zu bringen. Die Gasflaschen befinden sich in einem belüfteten Brötchen im Cockpit. Dieser ist mit einem elektrischen Absperrventil ausgestattet, das von der Küche aus bedient werden kann. Die Gasleitung besteht aus Kupferrohr, die flexiblen Teile sind wartungsfrei.

Unter dem Cockpitboden ist ein Meer von Platz für alle Möbel und mehr. Die Luke, die den Zugang ermöglicht, ist mit Gasfedern ausgestattet, so dass sie sich wie von selbst öffnet. The laminated tanks make it an extremely rigid construction. Hull and deck are fully laminated to each other.

General
Other: Interior The interior can be carpentered in any type of wood. Teak panelling is standard. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric oven and four burner gas hob. The kitchen worktop is in stainless steel, but can be supplied in another material if desired. A large pharmacy closet provides ample storage space. The owner's cabin has direct access to a shower with washbasin. Two large wardrobes and a row of smaller cabinets. A second cabin with two berths offers space for two people. The toilet has a washbasin. A technical room gives access to all electronics and offers the possibility to install a washing machine. The wheelhouse also serves as a saloon. A spacious U-shaped bench with table is sufficient for 4 persons. If desired, the necessary equipment can be built in in the steering position. A depth sounder and log are standard. In order to steer the ship comfortably, a height and position-adjustable chair has been fitted.

Stainless steel propeller shafts with thrust bearings and homokinetic couplings. Faster four-blade screws with a diameter of 24" and a pitch of 23.5" placed in tunnels for high efficiency. Teleflex electronic control with low and high trolling valve control. The engine compartment is constructed of heavy-duty insulating sandwich plate and provided with 42 mm thick sound insulation on the inside. The engine compartment is equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing system. Installation The 24 volts electrical installation is of high quality. A charge current transformer and charger/inverter are standard. The service battery capacity is 600 Ah. The lighting consists of dimmable halogen spotlights and reading lights. The switches are recessed in the walls. In the kitchen LED lighting is built in. A 40 litre boiler provides hot water. This is heated by the cooling water of the engine as well as by 230 V. The water system is kept on pressure by an automatic pump. In the kitchen and toilet are mixer taps installed, in the shower a thermostatic faucet. The waste water tank can be emptied using a pump or through the deck opening at a waste water pumping station. A Webasto hot air diesel heater heats the interior. There are enough spouts to quickly bring the ship up to temperature. The gas cylinders are placed in an aerated bun in the cockpit. This is equipped with an electric shut-off valve that can be operated from the kitchen. The gas pipe consists of copper pipe, the flexible parts are maintenance free.
