Ein ungewöhnliches Boot mit einer reichen Geschichte. Das Boot wurde 1952 in der Curtis Bay Coast Guard Werft in Amerika gebaut. Im Rahmen des niederländisch-amerikanischen Wiederaufbauplans wurde die Marschal nat als Schiff für 11 Schiffe in die Niederlande nach Rotterdam überführt. Das Boot wurde auch erstmals von der MUD in Dienst gestellt.

Der MUD ist der Minenüberwachungsdienst. Mit ihm wurden deutsche Seeminen aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg aufgespürt und mit Hilfe von Schlammpfähle in Position gebracht und mit Bojen verankert. Jetzt sind wir bereit, sie zu tragen. Zur Ausrüstung gehört auch eine historische Maschinengewehr-Attrappe des Typs Point 50. Es handelt sich um eine Attrappe und ist nicht zum Schießen geeignet. Diese Waffe kann auf den Anzug gelegt werden. Sie sollten wissen, dass dies in den Benelux-Ländern nicht der Fall ist, aber es ist auch nicht das Originalprodukt.

Bei diesem Boot wurden die ursprünglichen Detroit-Dieselmotoren durch einen Ford-Motor ersetzt, um es viel sparsamer und leichter zu machen. Das Boot segelt wunderbar leicht und kann sowohl innen als auch außen nur wordne segeln.

Das Patrouillenboot ist seetüchtig und aus Cortens-Stahl mit einem Aluminium-Aufbau gefertigt.

Dieses System wurde in den 1970er und 1980er Jahren aus dem aktiven Dienst der Marine ausgemustert. Der letzte operative Einsatz dieses Schiffes war bei den Marinetauchern. Die so genannten Froschmänner.

ZUSÄTZLICHE INFORMATIONEN

• Das Boot wurde zuletzt im August 2023 für einen neuen Bewuchsschutz aus dem Wasser geholt.
• Bekannte Mängel : Beide Drehzahlmesser und der rechte Temperaturmesser sind defekt. Dies wird wahrscheinlich durch ein loses Kabel an der Lichtmaschine verursacht.
• Außen- und Innensteuerung funktionieren gut. Die Drosselklappen im Inneren sind deaktiviert, die Kabel sind nicht angeschlossen.
• Mitgeliefert wird eine Dokumentation über die Geschichte des Ausgucksdienstes der niederländischen Marine.
• Das Boot ist bei der niederländischen RDW unter der Nummer 8188YP registriert.

A special boat with a rich history, The boat est built in 1952 America at the Curtis Bay Coast Guard yard. As part of the Netherlands-America reconstruction plan; the Marschal wet would be a ship as one of the 11 ships to the Netherlands sailed over to Rotterdam. The boat was also first commissioned by the MUD service.

The MUD is the Mines Watching Service. With this, German WWII sea mines were tracked and fixed in position by means of mud piles and anchored with buoys. Now we are ready to wear it. Also on board as part of the equipment is a historic dummy machine gun type Point 50. This is a dummy model and not suitable for shooting. This weapon can be placed on the afuit. On this boat the original Detroit diesel engines have been replaced by a Ford engines to make it much more economical and a lot lighter. The boat sails wonderfully very easy and can only sail wordne both inside and outside.

The patrol boat is seaworthy and made of Cortens steel with an aluminum superstructure.

This scheme was phased out of active service in the Navy in the 70s and 80s. The last operational duty of this ship was with the Navy diver. The so called frogmen.

• The boat was last out of her watr in August 2023 for a new an anti-fouling
• Known defects : Both tachometers and the right temprature gauge are defective. This is probably caused by a loose wire at the alternator.
• Outside and inside steering works well. The throttles inside are disabled, the cables are not connected.
