The Moonen 1500 “Pastime” sleeps 5 in 1 double and 1 triple stateroom and is in a very, very exceptional condition.

 

Wheelhouse

Pastime’s air-conditioned wheelhouse gives you comfort during your new cruising adventures,

Her toughened glazing withstands the most extreme conditions and a central

fresh air ventilation system provides fresh air in all compartments when all glazing and portholes have to be closed.

The twin screw Moonen/Viking cutter is equipped to the highest level to ensure comfortable cruising day after day.

The DAF DD575 engines are known for their durability and you may expect a lifetime equal to commercial boats.

The electronic KE-585 Micro-Commanders allow you to maneuver the yacht with ease and this together with the very powerful bow and stern thrusters makes you dock this yacht like a pro.

 

Deck Helm

Behind the professional helm seat is ample space for six, beautiful teak seats on both starboard and port side of the central aft entrance provide storage room for all maintenance equipment as well as lovely cushioned seats. A centre plank can be inserted to change the double seats to one entire rounded seat. The covers for them are of course in perfect condition.

 

Mast

The mast (not displayed) can be completely lowered to decrease air-draft to only 3.20 meters which makes Pastime suitable for French Canals with more than 30 cm of headroom left!

Super Salon

Only one Moonen/Viking was ever built with the super-salon, built in her aft and this is just a fantastic place to be! During the day when sailing the super-salon gives you the opportunity to be at the water level, seeing the waves roll and a water level horizon. At night the space gives you privacy. I truly am convinced it is a shame only one example has this perfect layout for the extra-long stay or live-aboard.

The super salon is equipped to a very high level of comfort, centered aft is a large circular seating with dining table.

A large smart TV and a radio/CD/USB completes the entertainment

A king size galley with 4 zone Siemens induction stove, Liebherr refrigerator an Engel freezer and a Siemens grill/oven combination ensures effective cooking.

Plenty cupboards and other spaces house all needed pantry equipment for a perfect live aboard.

 

Master cabin

In the bow the heated master cabin with king-size bed and two electric adjustable mattresses to watch tv on her 32” smart tv.

The sides provide plenty of storage room and lockers for all your clothing.

 

Guest cabin

On starboard you find the ample sized heated guest cabin with a large double bed and a very clever slide-away Pullman style upper bed. Super nice and well-designed for a couple and their child. (The upper bed can also be used by an adult.)

Lots of storage is also found here as well as bed lights and 230v outlets.

 

Bathroom

In the corridor between the wheelhouse/salon and the two cabins you’ll find the entrance to its bathroom with wash basin, shower and comfortable large electric toilet.

 

Engine room

Pastime’s second masterpiece is without doubt the engine room, engineered to perfection.

The DF575 engines with 5.76 L. are known for their reliability and will run a lifetime without any problems. The yacht’s setup is made to be fully independent of shore power for a very long period of time as the heavy inverter can power the boat without charging for at least an entire week!

Starting the diesels will give you an output current at idle of a ridiculous 215 amps per hour and therefore your batteries will be full in no-time.

 

Safety equipment

No gas on board!

All areas are equipped with fire extinguishers.

Ample rescue equipment is on board including pyrotechnics (flares etc.)

A Mercury RIB dinghy and a brand new Mercury outboard engine short shafted, rated at 6Hp.
