Voted European Boat of the Year by the press in 2013, the 5X has become a reference at the Outremer shipyard over the years. Cyan, the stunning Outremer 5X, one of the last examples, delivered at the end of July 2022, was designed for long journeys in complete autonomy. Now available in Martinique, after a magnificent transoceanic journey. A unique opportunity to set sail right now, without compromise.

An icon of the shipyard, the 5X is the flagship of the Outremer range: 61 feet of controlled power, designed by VPLP, with a hull built to cover miles and a high-end finish, designed for comfortable living at sea, both at anchor and while sailing. This model is a 4 cabin / 2 bathroom version, ideal for accommodating family, friends, or crew in a warm and bright setting, with custom finishes and a contemporary interior style. It has all the attributes of a great voyage: robustness, autonomy, system redundancy, and cutting-edge equipment.

Launched in La Grande Motte, Cyan embarked on a significant journey: crossing the Atlantic, exploring the Caribbean, heading towards the Pacific, Polynesia… before returning in 2025 to the Antilles, where it awaits its new owners. Throughout this journey, it has been meticulously maintained and upgraded to meet the highest standards of safety, comfort, and efficiency. It has had only one owner, a very experienced individual from the sailing world, and has always been professionally monitored.

In terms of equipment, this 5X is a concentrate of technology and comfort. Lightweight construction with a carbon mast, Kevlar rigging, carbon bulkheads, high-density foam like Gunboat, for exceptional marine behavior. The sail plan is up to par: mainsail with solent, Code 0, gennaker, and asymmetrical spinnaker (headsails on furlers), with hardware for symmetrical spinnaker. Three electric winches facilitate maneuvers from the 4 steering stations (2 wheel steering + 2 tiller steering, all in carbon), protected under a carbon bimini. The cockpit features a large L-shaped bench with a table, BBQ, fridge-freezer, and all the equipment for comfortable outdoor living.

The interior is equally well-appointed: equipped kitchen (gas/induction), oven, large refrigerator, double sink, ample storage, Corian countertop. In terms of comfort, nothing is missing: air conditioning, Webasto heating, Fischer Panda 8000i generator, Duo 100L/h watermaker, washer/dryer, diving compressor, TV, LED lighting, and numerous fans.

The onboard electronics are state-of-the-art: dual B&G Zeus 3S 12" screens, H5000, AIS, B&G VHF, radar, mast cameras, ForwardScan sonar, Seatronic computer system with TimeZero, 32" screen, Iridium GO, Starlink, CZone for centralized control, dual autopilot (H5000 + Raymarine/Simrad). All critical elements are duplicated for maximum reliability.

The energy autonomy is exceptional: solar panels (800W on davits + 820W on bimini), Mastervolt lithium batteries (2x6000W – new 2024), 5000W inverter, 24V 110A alternators, Mastervolt charger, generator. Included is a Highfield 360 hypalon dinghy with a Mercury 20hp EFI engine.

This 5X is also perfectly equipped for safety: 8-person liferaft, EPIRB and GPS beacons, safety anchor, spare parts kit, emergency rigging, replacement equipment, and numerous consumables.

Visible in Martinique from May 2025 – sold VAT included, this 5X is aimed at demanding sailors looking for an exceptional offshore multihull, ready to set off for a world tour or any other ambitious project.
